Heather Gernack holds two degrees, a Bachelor of Social Work Degree and a Bachelor of Psychology Degree. Heather is a member in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Social Workers, and is a Registered Social Worker.

ABOUT HEATHER
Heather has worked for the Interior Health Authority as a Psychometrist for 15 years, and then later transitioned into a social work role. She has a passion for working with those one on one, and has found that being in private practice allows her to spend more time to focus, and the ability to provide a safe environment for her clients to achieve their mental health goals.
Heather currently works heavily with young adults, individuals and couples. She has a strong belief that although our past can influence who you are today, she is determined to not let it define you.

She caters her approach to the way you learn, your experiences, and your goals. You will never face judgement when seeing Heather, but rather a welcoming and supportive environment from beginning to end.
Heather is a thrill seeker. In her personal time she uses her free time to skydive, scuba dive, paddle board, and ski. She has lived in Kelowna for over 30 years and loves to go hiking with her spouse and three dogs.
